Case study · Academy of Little Achievers
Fifteen months caught up, from no reconciled records
A small education business with no reconciled history and little time to spare. We caught up June 2023 to August 2024 and set them up to run QuickBooks themselves.
- Period caught up
- Jun 2023 – Aug 2024
- Project fee
- $1,200
- Reconciliation time
- −75%
- Software
- QuickBooks
Early childhood education
Where it started
There were no reconciled records to start from, the owner had little time to gather documents, transactions came through many payment methods, and QuickBooks was new to the team.
What we did
- Converted bank statements and documents into one standard format.
- Recorded and categorised the history in QuickBooks on a chart of accounts built for the business.
- Reconciled every month against the bank and resolved the discrepancies.
- Delivered a profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow statement and statement of changes in equity, with a summary of what to act on.
- Trained the team on QuickBooks and stayed on for support.
Result
Fifteen months of books caught up for $1,200, monthly cash tracking in place, and manual reconciliation time cut by 75%.
“Working with Stellify Accounting Services has been a game-changer for Academy of Little Achievers.”
